Capabilities

Four stages. One company.

Most stone reaches a buyer through a chain of quarry owners, traders, processors and finishers — each adding cost and losing the thread. AGES ART owns every stage, so the block you approve is the piece that lands on your site.

Stage 01

Mining & quarrying

We work our own benches, so the block you approve is the block that ships. Full traceability from seam to serial number.

  • Owned & long-lease benches
  • Block-level traceability
  • Diamond-wire extraction

Stage 02

Processing & manufacturing

Gang saws, multi-wire and CNC lines cut to your tolerance, then resin, calibrate and finish in-house — no brokered middle step.

  • Gang-saw & multi-wire
  • CNC profiling and waterjet
  • 12 finishes in-house

Stage 03

Design & craft

Master carvers and 3D designers work side by side — temple work, sculpture, inlay and bespoke furniture drawn, mocked up and hand-finished.

  • 3D scan to shop drawing
  • Physical mock-ups

Applications

What the stone becomes.

We supply the raw material and we build the finished piece. Most clients start with one and grow into the other.

Why AGES ART

Buying stone overseas is a risk. We remove it.

01

One accountable supplier

Quarry, factory and finishing under one roof means one price, one lead time and one team to call — no brokered chain to chase.

02

Photo-verified before it ships

Every block, bundle and crate is photographed against your order and shared for written approval before loading.

03

Export paperwork handled

Certificate of origin, packing list, fumigation, insurance and HS classification prepared by our own documentation desk.

04

Samples in your hands fast

A curated sample box of your shortlisted stones dispatched by courier, typically within five working days of enquiry.

05

Consistency across repeat orders

We reserve bench and block references so a second phase matches the first — critical for multi-building programmes.

06

Built for design teams

Shop drawings, CAD blocks, finish schedules and technical data sheets supplied in the formats your specifiers already use.

We specified three stones across two towers and the second phase matched the first exactly. That almost never happens with an overseas supplier.

FAQ

The questions buyers ask first.

Anything not covered here, ask us directly — we answer enquiries within one business day.

What is your minimum order quantity?

For slabs and blocks we sell by the container, which is roughly 18–22 tonnes depending on thickness and stone. For finished products — furniture, décor, sculpture and temple work — there is no container minimum; we quote per piece and consolidate smaller orders into a shared container where it saves you freight.

Can I get samples before committing?

Yes. Tell us the stones and finishes you are considering in the enquiry form and we dispatch a curated sample box by courier, typically within five working days. Larger reference tiles and full-slab photography are available for specification work.

Which Incoterms do you quote?

FOB, CIF and DDP. Most first-time buyers start with CIF so the landed cost is clear, then move to FOB once they have a preferred forwarder. We prepare the certificate of origin, packing list, fumigation certificate and HS classification in-house.

How do you guarantee the stone I approve is the stone I receive?

Every block carries a quarry reference, and every bundle and crate is photographed against your order before loading. Nothing ships without your written approval on those photographs.

Do you take on bespoke design and carving?

That is the core of the business. Our design studio works from a sketch, a CAD file or a 3D scan, produces shop drawings and a physical mock-up for approval, then our master carvers execute and hand-finish the work.

What are typical lead times?

Stock slabs and blocks generally leave the yard in two to three weeks. Cut-to-size and calibrated panels run four to six weeks. Carved and bespoke commissions depend on scope — we give you a dated production schedule with the quotation and update it weekly.
