Overview
Everything a finished piece can be is decided at the quarry. Colour consistency, vein direction, soundness and block size are set the moment the bench is cut, which is why we work at this end of the chain rather than buying finished slabs on the open market.
Extraction is done with diamond wire and chain saw rather than blasting, so blocks come out square and sound and the yield per bench is far higher.

The sequence, start to finish

Reserve assessment
Sampling and test cuts establish colour range, soundness and workable block size.

Bench development
Overburden is stripped and access is cut so the face can be worked safely.

Extraction
Diamond wire and chain saw release the bench without shocking the stone.

Squaring and grading
Blocks are squared and graded at the face — the earliest possible quality gate.

Yard staging
Graded blocks are staged, photographed and, where required, reserved against a project.
