Overview
The brief was a single material story: one stone family running from the reception desk through the console tables to the objects on the shelves, so the lobby reads as designed rather than assembled.
That meant reserving enough onyx up front to cover a reception front, three consoles and a run of turned bowls and candle holders — with the small pieces cut from the offcuts of the large ones.
